The NC Sound Production course will develop your skills in audio technology. You will be introduced to a wide array of areas within the world of sound. You will record music using microphones and line input devices, then transfer this audio to a digital audio workstation to arrange, edit and mix into a song. You will learn how to utilise MIDI, so you can compose music, using the computer as your orchestra. You will learn how to install and use a live sound system, in order to reinforce music and speech. Underpinning all of this is the development of your core skills in a creative environment.

We aim to harness and amplify your creativity by arming you with up to date technology and supportive lecturing. This course provides the opportunity for you to progress from Level 6 NC Sound Production and has strong links with a number of universities.
