HNC Travel and Tourism gives you the knowledge and skills required to work in a wide range of roles in the tourism industry including retail and business travel, airlines or at the airport, as tour guides or holiday reps, in hotels and for tour operators both in this country and overseas. On completing the course you can move directly to HND Travel and Tourism or the second year of university on either the BA (Hons) International Business and Tourism Management at Glasgow Caledonian University or the BA (Hons) in Tourism Management at The University of the West of Scotland.

HND Travel and Tourism further develops the knowledge and skills required to work in a wide range of roles in the tourism industry including employment within retail and business travel, with airlines or at the airport, as tourist guides and travel reps, in hotels and for tour operators both in this country and overseas. There is also the option to progress to the third year of a degree at university, and around 60% of our students have gone on to study BA (Hons) International Tourism and Event Management at Glasgow Caledonian University or BA (Hons) in Tourism Management at the University of the West of Scotland.
