Significant experience of estate management.

A degree or equivalent qualification in estates management or related discipline. IOSH or NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent health and safety qualification). Experience of working in the education sector.

Experience of managing capital works from start to finish. A sound knowledge of health and safety regulations as they relate to premises and buildings. Experience of managing a team including managing the performance of others. Experience of managing budgets and of monitoring invoices from a multitude of external contractors. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels in a courteous and professional manner – a ‘can-do’ attitude. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to work autonomously to resolve issues. Time management skills and experience of managing a varied workload with the minimum of supervision and direction. Good working knowledge of MS Office packages.

Terms of Employment •

40-hour week (however senior members of staff are expected to do the hours necessary for the role).
