FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Center therapists take a whole-body approach to consider whether issues with the spine, hip, knee/ feet contribute to imbalances. We provide intensive one-on-one care to help you achieve the greatest independence possible. We provide a range of programs and therapies to help and evaluate all types of disorders to connect your symptoms to the actual cause of the issue. Physical therapy can help with dizziness, vertigo, balance, orthopedic, neurological, fitness, pelvic health and pre/ post-operative surgery cases! • Deep Tissue Laser Therapy - Laser therapy is clinically proven to reduce pain and restore mobility. Deep Tissue Laser Therapy stimulates cellular metabolism, which speeds up the healing process. The laser warms the tissue and targets the mitochondria and causes an increase in production of ATP. ATP facilitates energy transfer within the cell, thus allowing the cell to return to normal function laser helps to improve circulation and to remove waste from the tissue. • Massage – We have therapists that specialize in hot stone, swedish, thai, marma and deep tissue techniques. Massage incorporates manual adjustments for overall relations to deep- tissue trigger points. It releases fear and stress triggers which can manifest disease. • Dry Needling - Dry needling is based on Western medicine, where it targets muscle tissue with the goal of reducing pain, deactivating trigger points and restoring function. Dry needling is a treatment performed by skilled, trained, physical therapists, certified in the procedure. A thin monofilament needle penetrates the skin and treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.
• Juvent Micro Impact Plate – You need micro impact for your health and to increase bone density. The Juvent increases lymphatic drainage to get rid of lactic acid which will decrease soreness. It strengthens and increases muscles mass. It also stimulates blood and lymphatic flow and decreases swelling in the lower extremity. • Overhead Balance System – A system that assists people to gain strength, be able to walk again without the risk of falling! This harness system will have the patient strapped in but still the full flexibility to walk on their own.

ORZO WITH ZUCCHINI & TOMATO INGREDIENTS • 5 oz uncooked orzo pasta • 1/2 large zucchini, 1/4-inch diced • 1 small plum or Campari tomato, diced • 2 cloves garlic, smashed & finely chopped • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil • salt & fresh pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS Cook pasta in large pot of salted water as directed for al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup liquid before draining. Drain orzo in a colander and add the oil to the pot. Saute garlic 1 minute, until fragrant, add the zucchini and tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and mix well. Cook until tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the cooked orzo and stir to combine all. Add some of the reserved liquid as needed so pasta isn’t dry. Add freshly grated cheese and stir.
