CONCEPT
Chow Mee incorporates the words of Chow and Mee. Chow is urban slang for food and commonly used in day-to-day casual chit chat. While Mee is the Malaysian word for noodles. When combined, Chow Mee refers to the social aspect of enjoying a casual meal with family and friends during a memorable holiday for in-house hotel guests or a gathering/special occasion for residents of Muscat. Chow Mee celebrates the vibrant and fresh flavors of Chinese Indonesian, Thai and Peranakan cuisine featuring noodles, satay, and main courses in a bright, urban, modern venue.
The ambience within the restaurant is set off by its modern look and urban feel. Rustic touches contrast with an industrial vibe, while comfortable seating encourages guests to stay longer. An outdoor Asian inspired terrace overlooks the nearby Al Bandar Beach, while from the inside, large glass windows allow guests to enjoy the ocean views. The cuisine consists of comfort dishes from the streets of Southeast Asian including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand all served from an open kitchen, while the extensive beverage range is served from an interactive cocktail bar.
