Getting to the End Generally all of these streams of activity run in parallel. The only exception is that we tend to bring in the legal team about halfway through when it feels like the deal is on solid foundations. The key is to work through the process, be patient and keep communicating. Certain periods can be very stressful and there will be many problems to be solved. Most issues can be resolved on the weekly calls. More serious issues can be taken offline and we will work as an intermediary with the relevant parties to work through any issues in a cooperative, creative fashion. Deal Fatigue - This is a very real phenomenon in which almost no Buyer or Seller escapes. The final stages of a deal can be very tedious and stressful as there is so much at stake. There can often be delays caused by minor issues or occasionally major issues coming up right at the end. Regardless, it is important to understand that deal fatigue will happen at some point and not to panic or make any rash decisions. Our advice is to acknowledge it and keep in mind that the deal will eventually close and these particular issues will disappear and just keep going as the end is right around the corner!
