BRIEF FOR THE POSITION OF Estates Director

The Estates Director will take a pivotal role in planning and guiding infrastructure development and services for the family of schools. The successful candidate will be an individual of proven leadership ability, a strategic thinker and will possess strong networking, influencing and relationship management skills. You will have a proven track record of leading, motivating and significant experience of developing and implementing estates strategic plans at a senior level. The role is challenging and rewarding in equal measure, encompassing a range of stakeholders across multiple entities and sites

Malvern College is a leading independent co-educational day and boarding school for 660 pupils aged 13-18 years. A significant proportion of pupils join from the College’s two affiliated prep schools: The Downs Malvern and Abberley Hall, educating 400 boys and girls from 2-13. Situated on the slopes of the Malvern Hills, and in North Worcestershire, the three beautiful campuses, set in 300 acres of stunning grounds, provide a wonderful environment within which to learn and work. The Malvern brand is globally strong with sister schools in Qingdao, Chengdu, New Cairo, Switzerland and Hong Kong. Malvern College is looking to appoint an exceptional Estates Director to provide leadership of the estates departments across the Malvern College Family of Schools, with responsibility for estates, grounds, health and safety, security and central services.
