New senior community brings 150 affordable apartments to Somerset County Walters marks Branchburg ribbon-cutting event & celebrates arrival of Pressed in Ortley Beach
OMERSET COUNTY & OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Walters announced the grand opening of Cornerstone at Branchburg and the launch of Pressed in Ortley Beach. The Cornerstone at Branch- burg, a LEED-certified com- munity offers 150 premium age (55+) and income-restricted housing units. The event was held at 1000 Cornerstone Dr. in Branchburg. Joining the Wal- ters’ team were Branchburg’s Deputy Mayor Anna Columbus, New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) credit officer Mi- chael Coe , and Branchburg Police Chief Richard Buck. “Thanks to all the people that made this happen,” said Joseph Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters. “We’re extremely grateful to the Township of Branchburg for their support from the start of this project.
