M ATAWAN, NJ — An electric vehicle training facility and ready-for-lease logistics build- ing are two recently completed projects by Stone Creek Construction Group , ac- cording to Michael Bruno , president of the company. The design-build project for Volvo Car USA is the new, state-of-the-art Volvo Cars America Technical and Train- ing Center. Located in Mah- wah, the building is LEED Gold Certified, featuring solar panels and high-efficiency HVAC system, and housing

a multi-vehicle workshop and classrooms. The facility will be the central point for Volvo’s electric vehicle train- ing activity in the Western Hemisphere, as Volvo service technicians learn the latest diagnostic and service tech- niques. The second project was the demolition and transition of a manufacturing and ware- house facility into a logistics building for Dermody Prop- erties . Located at 50 Knicker- bocker Rd. in Moonachie, the 70,000+ s/f building is located 15 miles from Newark Inter- national Airport. Stone Creek Construction Group handled both interior and exterior renovations to the property in- cluding repaving of the truck court and parking areas, all new dock packages, and fully renovated office space.
