distribution warehouse that Hollister completed in phase one of the Newark Farmer’s Market. The freezer warehouse provides a safe and effi- cient work environment for employees, while meet- ing the high-demands of a fast-paced and high-volume warehouse. All equipment utilized in the warehouse is powered by hydrogen cell technology, a “green” tech- nology. The new freezer ware- house was built for Newark Farmers Market Urban Re- newal LLC, which will oper- ate the facility for Wakefern Food Corp. The warehouse accommodates three tenants and allows these businesses to more than double their capacity. In phase one of the project, Hollister was responsible for building a 180,000 s/f , tem- perature-controlled distri- bution center that delivers produce to ShopRite stores throughout the northeast. “We, as a company, are extremely pleased to wit- ness Newark’s continued growth and prosperity, and it is extremely satisfying to know that the projects we are involved in are bring- ing increased opportunity to Newark residents and people in the region,” said David Williams , project executive at Hollister. The Hollister team bring- ing this project to fruition includes Dave Williams, project executive; Jack Car- roll , project manager; John Casselli , project superin- tendent; and Gina Costa , project coordinator.
