Tons of activities, lots of variety, creativity and fun all in one! During this camp, kids can try a number of different activities both indoors and out. Our daily adventures may include group games, science experiments, nature exploration, sports, crafts and more. This year’s camp will look and feel different, the creative and energetic staff are planning and adapting activities to ensure safety for everyone. Dates: Week 1: July 4 - 8
AGE REQUIREMENTS Children must be the minimum age required on the start date of the camp. Age requirements are camp specific and
SNACKS AND LUNCHES Please remember to pack lunches and snacks that will not spoil. Two (2) or more drinks are advisable, preferably in a refillable container as campers will be outdoors and active throughout the day. For your child’s health and safety, campers will not be permitted to use water fountains to drink directly from. These fountains will be water refill stations only. Please pack a water bottle that can be refilled. Please be sensitive to those campers with life threatening food allergies. All camps are “NUT AWARE”. We ask that you do not send products containing nuts or that may contain nuts listed on the labels. MEDICAL INFORMATION Please ensure that all medical concerns and/or special care requirements are documented during your camp registration; if you have not done so, please contact your local recreation center to update your family’s account. Should your child require use of medication (i.e. inhaler or EpiPen), additional medical forms will be required on the first day of camp.
PHOTO IDENTIFICATION AT SIGN OUT For the safety of all campers please be prepared to show government issued photo identification upon sign out, daily. Photo ID will be used to verify the approved people listed for pick-up. WEATHER In the event of inclement weather, program plans will be adjusted to ensure the safety and comfort of all campers. Outdoor activities will be relocated to a nearby indoor location. SAFETY GUIDELINES As public health guidance and provincial regulations evolve, we will continue to regularly update our health and safety standards. An Inclusion Counsellor will support inclusion participants as they engage in program activities to their fullest extent. To request an Inclusion Counsellor, please utilize the program specific (location and camp week) Inclusion Request Code. Please note, space is limited and support will be scheduled based on the registration queue OR time and date of registration and is subject to staff availability.
