THEATRE CAMP

TECHNOLOGY CAMP In partnership with Kids Great Minds, spend a week enhancing your child creativity through the world of technology! Location: Southfields Community Centre Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Fee: $364.50

PA Day Camps Participate in an environment that encourages socialization, active play and the opportunity to explore a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers will be placed in smaller activity groups with children of similar age within the camp. STAGE KIDS CAMP (HALF DAY) The Stage Kids Camp is in an interactive and exploratory theatre arts program that strives to provide a fun filled experience while focusing on self-awareness, self- confidence building, and personal poise in performance. The focus of the program is the development of skills related to the art of Drama and Musical Theatre. Throughout the program, our students are encouraged to explore new skills, ideas and take risks as they continue to develop their natural talents. Our workshop style classes focus on the development of the actor’s instruments for stage, screen and public speaking events. This program is offered in partnership with Stage Academy Theatre Association, a non-profit Drama and Musical Theatre school whose goal is to work toward fostering an appreciation of theatre to build self-confidence and success in public speaking situations. 7-14 years Location: Albion Bolton Community Centre Dates: Monday - Friday Half day for two weeks - July 18 – July 29 Time: 8:45 a.m.– 12:30 p.m. Fee: $250

Campers will use a team approach to discover the underlying mechanics of the game and learn new logic and problem solving skills, giving them an opportunity to create bigger and better versions of their inventions in the World of Minecraft © . 7-14 years Dates: August 15-19

CARTOON COMPUTER ANIMATION CAMP

Dive into STEAM with computer animation technology. This camp will enhance your child’s creativity and bring their inspiring stories to life, while encouraging them to share and inspire others. They will work collaboratively in a guided, computerized environment and explore their own self-expression to animate story lines they create. In this camp, your child will learn story-boarding, create short computer animated cartoons, television shows or movies, and develop logical thinking skills. 6-10 years Dates: July 25 - 29

ADVENTURES IN INTERACTIVE CODING CAMP

Ever played whack-a-mole with playdough, or the piano with bananas? Now you can! Campers will explore the STEAM world through coding, designing their own games and musical instruments, and creating game controllers. Campers will code with Scratch (from MIT), create controllers with Makey Makey Boards and household items, and will learn coding concepts such as loops, if statements and variables as well as basic electricity principles and more, in a fun, imaginative, and logical way! 8-12 years Dates: August 8 - 12
