TEAM NOTES CONTRIBUTING TO OUR STABILITY FROM GARY SASSER
We like to say that Profit Sharing lets us see the results of our efforts in real time. That has certainly been the case in 2025, and your efforts have been at the forefront of our success. You continue to take care of our customers’ freight. And you are focused on safety, operating efficiently and doing everything with professionalism. All those actions have translated into outstanding performance numbers. It has truly been impressive to see what we've achieved in the face of headwinds in our industry. And that’s exactly the kind of result our Profit Sharing program is designed to produce. What I love most about our plan is that the sky is the limit. The greater our profit, the more there is to share. The better we do as a team, the better we do individually.
Profit Sharing has stood the test of time for nearly 40 years. That’s stability you can count on. And because it's something we strongly believe in, we will continue to Share the Effort and Share the Reward for many years to come. I'm thankful for your commitment to doing things the right way. We’re stronger because of those efforts, and we’re starting to see positive signs in our economy. As those turn into reality, we’ll be in an even better position for the long haul. And you can rest assured that Profit Sharing will be there as we secure our future together. T m

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
Focus On Fundamentals = Outstanding Profit Sharing
Despite the uncertainty throughout our industry in the first half of 2025, your commitment to excellence continues to produce outstanding Profit Sharing numbers. In fact, our Profit Sharing totals in the second quarter were even better than the first! In the second quarter, an amount equal to 7% of your pay was contributed to your 401(k) retirement account. That announcement was also part of our recent Share Day celebration, a new event that moving forward will mark each quarter’s Profit Sharing contributions. The quarterly total of 7% is a historically good number, and it’s a testament to your focus on the fundamentals. Your dedication to details was evident in many areas of our operations that led to this success. For example: • LTL on-time service was 96.0% – that’s just slightly less than our best second quarter on record, a total of 96.2% that we achieved last year. • Companywide cargo claims were almost non-existent at 0.22% – that’s our best second quarter on record, and it shows you’re taking extra care of our customers’ freight so it arrives On Time, On Target and Intact!
• Companywide workplace injuries totaled 67 in the second quarter – that's a decrease of almost 34% compared to the same timeframe last year! We want to say thank you for making it possible because we know it takes a total team effort. You’re setting us up for an even brighter future, and we’re confident that as the industry returns to normal levels, we’ll be in an incredible position to experience even more success! To learn how you make a difference with your actions each day, visit InsideAveritt.com/Performance . And to see how those actions increase your Profit Sharing, go to InsideAveritt.com/ProfitSharing . Keep Profits Stacked In Your Favor. Proper palletization and keeping freight safe and secure can yield big results. Thanks to smart moves like these, an amount equal to of your pay was deposited into your retirement account in Q2. 7%

CONTINUING QUEST FOR EXCELLENCE
OUR TEAM Honored BY CUSTOMERS In Quest For Quality Awards
When a team wins two or three titles in a row, the word “dynasty” starts getting used. But what do you call 27 consecutive years of recognition? We’ll call it sustained success, because that’s exactly what we’ve earned in the annual Quest For Quality awards! Compiled by one of the most widely read industry publications, Logistics Management, these awards are based on a survey of thousands of customers who rated carriers on criteria such as on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations. In this year’s awards, we were named as one of the top service providers in three categories: • South/South Central Regional LTL • Truckload Dry Freight • 3PL Value-Added Warehousing Solutions
Our consistency and excellence are a direct result of your commitment to doing things the right way, so we want to say thank you for making it happen! And the honors we earned show that our customers appreciate our ability to show The Power of One as a multi-service provider. and your feedback is a valuable tool that helps us move forward. We recently tested new Volvo trucks – the 2026 VNL860 sleeper and the VNR64T daycab. And as a result of your positive feedback, we’re moving forward with the purchase of those trucks! Our plan is to purchase 163 daycabs and 164 sleepers between now and the end of November. Like previous Volvo models we’ve driven, these new trucks are loaded with several safety features, such as Active Driver Assist, roll stability, and blind-spotter technology.

EMBRACING THE TOUR
Longtime On Tour Logistics Driver Grateful For Career Path
learn how it works so they can know what tours they want to work on, know how to do it safely and make sure our customers are taken care of.” PRIDE IN A JOB WELL DONE Another reason Toby loves his job is that through the years, we’ve proved the naysayers wrong with our success. In fact, we were named the 2024 Trucking Company of the Year by the Parnelli Awards, which have been referred to as the “Oscars of the Live Events Industry.” “When we started, everybody else said we couldn’t do it,” Toby recalls. “Everybody in the entertainment industry said a freight company couldn’t do this. I took that to heart. We wanted to see OTL succeed and surpass everyone else, and I want to make sure we’re good for the long haul and that people in the future are calling OTL for more business.” FRIENDLY ENCOURAGEMENT Toby is big on encouraging drivers who are interested in OTL to give it a try. “I tell them it’s not for everybody,” he says. “Some people can’t leave their families. I have a wife and three children at home. She works full time as a teacher, so it can work. You’ve just got to be willing to make it work. And honestly, once you start making that kind of money, it’s a good living. There’s no other entertainment driving company that has a benefits package like we do at Averitt.” IS OTL YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE? If you’re interested in learning more about On Tour Logistics, check out our landing page at InsideAveritt.com/OTL . That’s where you’ll find our recent “Fact Or Fiction” webinar, a Frequently Asked Questions section, information about OTL weekly salaries and more. If that piques your interest, let your leader know you’d like to take the next step in your Averitt career! T m TOBY EATON of our On Tour Logistics team has been part of country music group Old Dominion's tour for eight years.
Almost a decade ago, TOBY EATON was considering another career path. But after learning about On Tour Logistics, he decided to take the plunge into production and events driving and has never looked back. Now a lead driver for country music group Old Dominion, Toby is grateful for the opportunity that has become extremely rewarding. “My fleet manager, STEVE SPEARS , let me know about On Tour Logistics,” recalls Toby, who is domiciled out of our Jonesboro facility. “He knew I wanted something more.” Toby began his OTL experience on the tour of rap artists Future and Drake. Following that run, he moved over to the tour of Old Dominion, which was just beginning to find success in the industry. “At that time, CASEY GINDER and JENNIFER COBB were my fleet managers,” Toby says. “They said we had an up-and-coming country band and they thought I’d be a good fit for them.” It was on that tour that Toby found his match. And eight years later, he’s still going strong with a group that has grown from one truck to nine. Toby’s touring team has shown remarkable consistency, as seven drivers have been with the tour the entire time. Toby attributes that to the benefits of Averitt and the positive job experience. “A lot of drivers, once they get out here, they see that it’s a pretty exciting job,” Toby explains. “And the camaraderie with other drivers is amazing. Some of my best buddies in the world are in OTL. I just tell people that OTL maximizes their Truckload experience. And our fleet managers are second to none.” PAYING IT FORWARD One of Toby’s favorite parts of his role as lead driver is the opportunity to show newer associates the ropes of the touring and production industry. “I’ve always been big on training drivers,” he says. “I want them to know as much as a lead driver, whether they want to be a lead driver or not. Miami Service Center Director Experiences Outstanding Growth Throughout his Averitt career, new Miami Service Center Director ISMAEL MUNIZ has been ready, willing and able to take the next step. It’s that eagerness that has helped him develop from a part-time dock associate to his current role. Ismael originally came to Averitt in 2002, and he quickly went full time on inbound. In the meantime, he helped as a yard hostler, and a few years later, Ismael was promoted to inbound frontline leader. “I tapped into everything I could possibly get my hands on – outbound leader, dispatcher, OS&D,” Ismael recalls. “Just about everything I could touch, I tried to conquer.” A few years ago, Ismael was promoted to operations manager, and he moved to Service Center Director when STUART GANTT was promoted to Region 4 Vice President of Operations. CONSISTENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY Ismael says there are several reasons for his career growth. “The main things I would say are consistency and accountability, for sure,” he explains. “You’ve got to have a strong work ethic. You’ve got to always be ready and willing to raise your hand when needed. It’s a mindset of always adding value and asking, ‘What’s next?’” Ismael is thankful for the way we Promote From Within . “It’s one of the many great things that Averitt offers, to be honest,” Ismael says. “To be able to start like I did and work your way up, it gives you a long- term career mentality. I’m not just going to be stuck in a certain role. I can move up and grow. There’s so much potential.” SAGE ADVICE Ismael says there are several actions you can take if you want to grow in your own career. “Find a good mentor,” he says. “Be coachable. You’ve got to be willing to listen and learn. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. A lot of individuals are OK with being comfortable. If you want to grow, you’ve got to step out of your comfort zone." Ismael adds that it’s important to surround yourself with people who have the same growth mindset. STARTED ON THE DOCK, NOW WE'RE HERE
"You’ve got to find others who are also looking to move forward – ahead of you and behind you,” he says. “Find people who want to do what you do, because they’ll be the ones who will catapult you. If I’m moving up, who’s going to take my spot? Find those individuals and help them grow, too.” YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY If you’re ready to raise your hand and grow in your Averitt career, check out our Opportunities page at InsideAveritt.com/Opportunities . There, you’ll find a link to our Job Hotline, a list of open positions, and information about our Leadership Development and Dock-to-Driver Training programs. T m

Red Thinkin’ Rewards is perhaps one of the most unique programs we have. Through it, associates can earn points through regular daily actions, and spend them on everything from electronics to clothing and vacation packages. The program has been a hit for Atlanta West city driver SHAWDRA TAYLOR . Throughout her 14-year Averitt career, she’s earned points for People Like You referrals, achieving KPIs, safe-driving milestones and service awards. Shawdra has recently turned those points into a variety of Coach fashion accessories. “I was able to get a Coach necklace, watch and bracelet,” Shawdra explains. “All three were in the Red Thinkin’ Rewards catalog.” JUST FOR SHAWDRA Shawdra also found that she could use the Just For You tab to purchase items that aren’t in the catalog. In her case, it was the perfect pair of cowboy boots. “I got my cowboy boots from Amazon,” she recalls. “I gathered all the information for the Just For You tab, attached it, and Averitt sent the boots to me in the mail.” PERFECT FOR THE HOLIDAYS Another way Shawdra has used Red Thinkin’ Rewards is for Christmas shopping. “I got my son an iPad for Christmas one year. That thing was like $1,100 when I looked at the store. Then I turned around and got me one, too,” she says with a laugh. Shawdra also encourages her local teammates to cash in their points when other holidays come around. “We have a lot of nice things in the catalog,” she says. “I tell other associates to think about buying gifts through the program too. So if I’m looking and find a good deal, I’ll take it to them and say, ‘Why don’t you get your wife this?’” For Shawdra, Red Thinkin’ Rewards is part of the overall value of being an Averitt associate. COACH-ING UP HER SHOPPING GAME Atlanta West City Driver Thankful For Red Thinkin’ Rewards
“Averitt has some outstanding benefits,” she says. “Personally, I have profited so much from being an Averitt associate for 14 years.” Thank you, Shawdra, for sharing your positive Red Thinkin’ Rewards experience and for encouraging us to do the same!
