Over 36.4 million refugees

Our work at Madonna Mission is more important than ever before! Madonna Mission is working hard to meet the need.

Our classes are filled! Our hallways are buzzing! The number of people we serve has more than doubled since 2020. Thankfully the Madonna Mission community continues to grow. Our tutors, partners, donors and volunteers are dedicated to opening doors for refugees through education. Each member of our community plays a critical role in helping refugees succeed. We are united by our shared values of compassion, empathy, and a commitment to the belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances. The Madonna Mission community is working to ensure that refugees have the support and resources they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.

Did You Know? Refugees are vetted more intensively than any other group seeking to enter the U.S. Those who come here must first be registered by the United Nations refugee agency. Source: The International Rescue Committee
