Cind3r 3lla

Ella sits up in her bed rubbing her eyes, thinking about the day ahead of her. To start off, Ella opened her phone to read a new article that was published titled: “Who is Cind3r 3lla? Musics latest female producer hits the scene.” Ella smiled at this, she had been operating under her alias as a DJ and electronic music producer for 3 years now. 2016 and 2017 were both mediocre years without much traction, but 2018 was when she released her single “Glass Stiletto” that took the entirety of America by storm, racking up over 2 billion views on MyTube.

She was also one of the only mainstream producers to still have their identity be a secret. Ella had a mask she would wear on stage to protect her identity. Ella remembered about the big rave that she was going to. The rave was called The Headbangers Ball, and everyone was going. The rave lasted 2 days, she was playing on day 2 but still wanted to go to day 1 just as a fan. Ella passed the time until it was time for her to head to the rave. When she got there she immediately sprinted to the front of the pit where all of the artists were playing. Ella lost herself in the music and felt herself lose control of her own body. She lost so much control that she forgot how to walk properly and fell on a man. She quickly got up to look at him. There stood the most handsome man she had ever seen…..

“I am so sorry, oh my gosh, are you ok?” Ella extended her hand out to the man, which he took. As he touched her they both made eye contact, the world around them seemed to fade. “Yeah all good, too many drinks for me, I’m Micah.” “I’m Ella, wanna dance?” Ella couldn’t believe what she just said, she’s never this forward. But Micah looked ecstatic to dance. “Yes! Yeah, sure” Micah quickly adjusted himself and cleared his throat. As the two danced they felt the rest of the world disappear, as if all that was there was them and the music. When the song stopped they both entered the real world again. “Wow.” Said Micah. “Yeah, that was something else,” said Ella. She swayed from side to side as she thought of something else to say. “Hey we’re at a rave, which producers do you like?”

Micah’s eyes lit up as she asked him that question.

“Oh I could talk about this for hours! I’ll keep it brief though, I love San Holo, Martin Garrix, Cind3r 3lla, Marsh-” “Cind3r 3lla?!” Ella squeaked. “Yeah she’s amazing, I’m in love with her music it moves me so much.” Ella leaned in and kissed his cheek. “Come to part 2 tomorrow, Cind3r 3lla will be there.” She whispered into Micah’s ear, then left the rave. She would have loved to have told him right there but he wouldn’t believe her and her identity would have been compromised. The next night at the rave Ella had to make a choice, does she reveal her identity to him or does she let him slip away? As Ella walked on stage she heard people cheering and screaming for her, including Micah. She played through her hour long set looking at him the entire time. As her set came to a close she started to play Glass Stiletto and the crowd went insane. As the song started to build up towards the drop she began to speak… “Micah, come find me after the song.”

As the song dropped she ripped off her mask and jumped onto the table revealing her face to everyone. Micah’s jaw dropped as he couldn’t believe his eyes. After the song the two found each other and she let him backstage. “I have no words for you, you’re a legend to me,” Micah said as he was shaking his head. “I’m sorry I didn’t just tell you yesterday. I didn’t think you’d believe me,” Ella said glumly. “To be honest I probably wouldn’t have so good call.” The two laughed. “So, how about we get lunch?” Ella extended her arm out to him. “I’d be more than happy to.”
