Family Bistro Family Bistro in The View is the perfect spot for young families to spend their day at the races. A tantalising kid-friendly bistro menu, offering a range of hearty winter meal options for the adults and a menu just for the kids to enjoy. Kids can join in the fun of the Silent Disco between 11:30am and 1:30pm with their very own headphones. In the afternoon, they can also settle into the beanbags in the Silent Cinema to watch Sing 2 from 1:45pm and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 from 3:45pm. Headsets will be provided, and FREE, freshly popped popcorn is available to snack on. An indoor play area with a ball pit, blow-up play castle, arcade games, arts and crafts and the chance to have a free photo taken in the photobooth, make for hours of entertainment for kids of all ages. No booking required. Walk-up only, subject to the availability at the time. . Heritage Display in The Atrium On display in The Atrium is the Westwood Family Merry-Go-Round that was built in 1928 with horses that are all named after champions of the turf – Carbine, Phar Lap, Peter Pan and Ajax. This historic Merry-Go-Round and the racing games on display are on loan from the Australian Racing Museum. Entertainment in The Roof Garden & G.H. Mumm Champagne Bar VRC Members and their guests can dance the afternoon away with a live DJ in The Roof Garden playing all the hottest hits – from after the feature race until after the last. And in the G.H. Mumm Champagne Bar, join in on a sing-along with the resident Piano Man playing all your favourite requests. VRC Member Stakes The VRC Member Stakes gives all eligible members an opportunity to have a stake in each race meeting at Flemington. Along with bragging rights amongst your friends and the chance to celebrate your good fortune (for doing next to nothing!), every winner of every race will also enjoy a $200 VRC cash-on-card credit for use on course at food and beverage outlets.
