SILVER BOWL SERIES FINAL
This series is for three-year-old milers with heats conducted across Melbourne over distances of 1300m-1600m at Flemington, Caulfield and Sandown. In 2019, a furute stakes performer was discover when the Michael Moroney-trained import Buffalo River won the Silver Bowl Series Final (1600m), his third win on end since entering the country. He would go on to place in the 2020 Group 1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) and also the Group 2 Blamey Stakes (1600m) at Flemington before breaking through for his first stakes win in the Group 3 Monnga Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.
