Solution This high-end pet food company wanted to highlight key messaging in store for both its Organix brand and its Pristine brand. Americhip worked with Castor & Pollux to develop a clever instore campaign utilizing our Patented 7” Video Blades. Deploying our “No Touch” motion sensor, we designed the Video Blade to trigger alternating videos each time a shopper enters the aisle. As such, consumers learn about both Organix and Pristine and why one or both are right for their pet needs. Bayer has more than 120 years of history behind its aspirin, but the benefit for heart attack survivors was only recently discovered. To deliver this message to consum- ers at various club retailers, Bayer partnered with Americhip to produce an economical Video Unit that could mount directly to the pallet wrap display. As consumers approach, the motion sensor triggers an initial attract video and then consumers opt in to watch the entire video by pressing the push button. Solution Shine the light and share your product’s key performance elements with all of your shoppers. LG’s unique “knock knock” oven feature allows cooks in their homes to double tap on the glass window to trigger the internal light so they can check on the progress of dinner. However, when displayed in store, the ovens are not plugged in and so shoppers are not able to see this key feature in action. Americhip partnered with LG to develop a custom, battery- driven LED light harness that mounts inside the oven and triggers with the same knock knock sensor. We also produced a label that mounts to the top of the oven that invites consumers to double tap to learn more and a four color transparent lens that mounts to the inside of the window that shows a turkey dinner cooking inside when illuminated. With each double tap, our lighted display illuminates the delicious meal and demonstrates for the shoppers the special value delivered by the new oven. Now that’s a real feast of a display!

Solution Americhip partnered with P&G and its agency PEP for the Head & Shoulders brand to create an innovative, shelf-top LED product selector that went into CVS stores around the country. Americhip’s electronics engineers created a custom lighting mechanism to drive this innovative display. Consumers answer a few questions about their hair type, and then our device illuminates 2 or 3 products among the 16 shown to identify the right choice given their specific needs. Americhip also designed a sleek 48” custom metal housing to hold the electronics panels. The housings mounted to the top of the shelf to make the units easy to operate for consumers.
