The Liquor and Gaming Branch sends regular email updates to licence and permit holders to provide information about important issues and priority areas for the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission and the Commissioner for Licensing. Please keep an eye out for these updates, as they will assist you to ensure your venue is compliant with regulatory requirements. If you have any questions about your compliance or about any regulatory requirements, we are more than happy to provide clarification to you directly, or through the THA.

Changes to venue operator and conditions of licence

A Branch update was sent on 27 September 2023 providing important information on the process for seeking changes to your venue licence, including: • change of venue licence holder, including how to deal with jackpots if you operate gaming machines • change to the conditions of your venue licence eg number of gaming machines, size or location of your gaming area, changes relating to coin change machines
