Seventy five percent of the people in the United States will deal with foot pain at some point in their lives. And when you get it, there is nothing more debilitating. The human foot is a complex structure comprised of 26 bones and 33 different joints. There are over 100 muscles, ligaments, and tendons in the foot. With the popularity of the Fit Bit it is not uncommon to take 10,000 steps or more in a given day. This repetitive stress can create havoc on your feet. If you are having pain in the bottom of your foot, often times with the first steps of the day, or you have pain in the back of your heel when you increase your activity level then you won’t want to miss our next Health and Healing Seminar on Foot and Heel Pain. Johns Creek Physical Therapy is hosting a Free Foot and Heel Pain Workshop on Saturday, January 13th at 1:00 pm, as part of our Health and Healing Seminars . During the workshop you will learn the top three common causes of Foot and Heel Pain. You will also learn how foot and heel pain may not be coming from a problem in your foot or lower leg. The source of the problemmay be coming from somewhere else in your body. If you don’t find the actual source of the problem you can chase your symptoms around for a very long time. This can lead to a lot of expensive tests, the use of unnecessary medication, or cause you to be sidelined while you are wearing a walking boot. We find that most people today are looking for natural treatment options in their medical approach to pain instead of taking medications. In fact, nearly all of our patients mention they do not want to take even a simple anti-inflammatory prescribed by their doctor. If

you come to the workshop, we will teach you how you can deal with Foot and Heel pain naturally. Physical Therapist Marc Stewart has traveled all over the US and trained with some of the best Physical Therapists around. He brings that knowledge, training, and 18 years of experience to the clinic and shares his knowledge at the Foot and Heel Pain Workshop. A number of people who have attended the workshop have seen a complete resolution in their foot and heel pain, often in just a visit or two. If you’ve had foot or heel pain in the last 60 days, please accept our invitation to our next free workshop on Saturday, January 13th at 1:00 pm. You can register by calling our office at 770-622-5344 or visit www.johnscreekpt. com/heelworkshop.

I am pain free and ready to return to all of my athletic endeavors! “My original expectations were to have some pain relief but a long healing process. I was unable to stand or walk, let alone run, without considerable pain. Two weeks later, I am pain free and ready to return to all of my athletic endeavors. What an incredible break through in treatment of injuries where blood flow is limited. I am forever grateful and will recommend Johns Creek Physical Therapy to all!” - Jolyn M.
