TWO TO WATCH ADVISER is pleased to highlight two talented golfing stars of the future: Ben and Josh Hembling of Ipswich. Both boys took up the game less than three years ago, and are already playing at junior county level. T his autumn saw them in fine form: Ben (14) a pupil at Copleston High School, Ipswich was selected to represent his school in the Suffolk Schools Golf events and has also represented Suffolk Under 14s a number of times. In august he won his first junior open competition at Fynn valley Golf Club, and then won his first adult competition, the Haskell Cup, against 126 competitors. Younger brother josh (10) continues to improve, competing in six junior opens this season. With local golfing pros enthusing about his amazing short game and his ability to ‘hole out’ from bunkers, he is clearly destined for great things. Stephen Hembling (dad to Ben and josh) said: ‘We’re really excited about the progress both boys are making: it’s great to see their talent maturing. We’re now looking to secure a sponsorship deal, which will really help them get to the next level.’ We all wish Ben and Josh every success for the future!
