Greetings, On behalf of Mississippi Council of National Council of Negro Women, Inc. I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each one of you. Your presence here today is a testament to your unwavering dedication to the National Council of Negro Women’s (NCNW) mission of empowering and uplifting our communities. We gather today, united by our shared passion for the well-being of Black women and their communities. Let us draw inspiration from the remarkable legacies of Mary McLeod Bethune, Dorothy I. Height and the countless NCNW pioneers who paved the way for us. May this conference be a transformative experience, inspiring knowledge-sharing, meaningful connections, and collaborative action. Let us depart with renewed energy, a clear vision for the future, and a deep commitment to implementing the innovative strategies and ideas we explore here. As we continue to strive towards our goals, let us remain guided by NCNW' program priorities that are grounded on a foundation of critical concerns; Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship, Health Equity, S.T.E.A.M. & Education and an unwavering commitment to Social Justice. Wishing you a productive, memorable, and life-changing conference experience. May your time be filled with purpose, connection, and the collective power of our voices. Thank you for being an integral part of Mississippi Council of National Council of Negro Women, Inc. Together, we can create a brighter, more equitable future for all. Sincerely, Victoria Thornton Sharpe
