A history of excellence E stablished in 1850, Christ’s College is an Anglican school founded on Christian principles. Its history is inextricably linked with the foundation and settlement of Christchurch and the Canterbury region. Our school moved to its present site in 1856, putting down roots in the central city to grow and develop, and build an exceptional learning environment. Today, we are proud stewards of our remarkable heritage and traditions while, most importantly, looking to the future.
