By accessing alternative sources from pharmaceutical manufacturers, our DPS Program provides $0 copay goods to plan participants for many eligible high-cost medications. About ImpaxRx ImpaxRx is a Prescription Assistance Advocacy organization that Medpace has partnered with to assist members with qualifying for Prescription Assistance Programs offered by the manufacturer. Copay Assistance Programs vs Prescription Assistance Programs Copay Card Assistance – for commercially insured patients enrolling in a copay card to be used at the pharmacy to pay a flat dollar copay ($5, $10, $25, etc) up to a set amount each year. These copay cards have a bucket of money that the manufacturer determines to assist with member out of pocket amounts and once the funds are used up the copay card is out for the year.
Prescription Assistance Programs – are NO-COST drug program that patients can enroll in, if eligible. If approved, the member would receive the drug directly from the manufacturer at NO COST each time.
