ioning like unto His glorious body. Consider how wonderful it will be to realize that our human form will be immortal and incorruptible. We will die no more. Most of us have loved ones who are now at home with the Lord. I am sure that like me many of you wish to see them again. Never for get that in the resurrection we are going to look on one another. Yet, instead of the weakness of death there will be the strength of life eternal. At this point we will expe rience victory over every hindrance which has ever held us back from that perfect progress which will fully mature in glory. No more will we experience incompleteness. We can accomplish only a fraction of what we undertake in human life. If the certainty of death ended ev erything we would be doomed to an abiding pessimism. The resur rection of the believer is the climax of all aspirations and desires. We will have an endless life in which to accomplish those tasks which have been committed to us. So many of our deeds, even when completed, bring no certain and abiding results at all. What seemed to men to be fail ure in the death of Christ God wrought the most tremendous vic tory by raising Jesus from the dead. The resurrection gave a new value to all that our Saviour did and said. So it will also be with all who have placed their complete faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. With out question, the resurrection gives us an expectation of something more than human futility. In that bright and shining day we will be privileged to see the final result of our accomplishments, realizing that our labors have not been in vain in Page 39
