OVER, DE — In sup- port of the company’s commitment to pur- sue better healthcare through real estate solutions, Anchor Health Properties (Anchor) , a national, full-service health- care real estate development, management, and investment company focused exclusively on medical outpatient buildings and specialty healthcare facili- ties, proudly marked the proj- ect completion of the dynamic Bayhealth Heart & Vascular Institute, located on the Kent Campus at 560 S. Governors Avenue, Dover. Serving as developer in a fee- for-service capacity and owner’s representative for Bayhealth, the largest health system in central and southern Dela- ware, Anchor led the design and construction of the 17,940 s/f renovation. Working closely with key stakeholders, Anchor provided comprehensive over- sight throughout the process ensuring the project aligned with Bayhealth’s operational goals, budget parameters, and long-term campus strategy. The project revitalizes a for- mer building vacated after the opening of Bayhealth at Blue Hen, also redeveloped by Anchor, and repositions space on Bayhealth’s Kent Campus to support the growth and uni- fication of its cardiovascular services. Fully outpatient, the facility features exam rooms, a cardiac diagnostic center with two nuclear medicine cameras, three echocardiogram rooms, three vascular rooms, and two stress labs. Bringing these ser- vices together under a single, cohesive institute simplifies patient navigation, reduces confusion, and creates a clear, consistent identity across all cardiovascular practices. “Our long-standing part- nership with Bayhealth has always been rooted in a shared commitment to patient-centric care,” shared Mattew Pirolli , VP Development with Anchor. “With the Heart & Vascular Institute, that alignment was especially clear. The project team also included regionally based firms with a proven track record of suc- cessfully delivering dynamic healthcare facilities together, including Becker Morgan Group , who provided archi- tecture and civil engineering services, and Wohlsen Con- struction , who served as the general contractor.
