Opening of energy-efficient community will mark 51 st LEED building in Hankin’s portfolio Hankin breaks ground on 7th Keva Flats apartment building, expanding 19-acre community

into West Whiteland Twp.’s Chester Valley Trail and resi- dents enjoy access to Main St. at Exton, downtown West Chester, and SEPTA’s Exton Station. Keva Flats is a sustain- able, award-winning luxury apartment community built across seven residential build- ings. Once complete, the lat- est addition will bring Keva Flats to 388 units and mark the conclusion of Phase II, which included one of Chester County’s first floodplain resto - ration projects and the addi- tion of 96 apartments across two residential buildings.

XTON, PA — Hankin Group has begun con- struction on the seventh apartment building at Keva Flats, which will add 72 sustain- able apartments to the 266-unit, 19-acre luxury apartment com- munity in Exton. The commu- nity is managed by the award winning Hankin Apartments and plans to welcome residents to the newest addition in spring of 2027. The addition will be a five- story, mid-rise building with a mix of one-, two-, and three- bedroom units ranging from 795 to 1,570 s/f. The modern, pet-friendly apartments will boast ample natural light, luxury vinyl plank flooring, quartz countertops with tile backsplashes, smart lock keyless entry, central air, full-sized washer and dryer, oversized kitchen islands, and more. Residents will also have access to several shared building amenities, including ground-floor garage parking, EV charging, a dog wash sta- tion, bicycle storage, and a fire pit and grilling area. The building is designed to meet LEED Gold certification standards, the second-highest level of green building awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council , with energy-efficient and eco-friendly features, in- cluding LED lighting, stainless steel Energy Star appliances, water-conserving bathroom fix - tures, and sustainably sourced building materials.
