Take a Break

Solution on Page 4

HOW DID YOU GET CONNECTED TO FINANCIAL ARCHITECTS? Kevin and Sue Deacon have been connected to Financial Architects for as many years as Patrick Marody has been connected to Financial Architects. They first met Patrick when he was finishing his degree at UM-Dearborn. Sue and Lisa (Pat’s wife, then his girlfriend) worked as a creative team in the advertising business. As Patrick began his professional career, the Deacons entrusted him to help them plan for the future of their young family. For the last 30 years, Pat and the FAI team have carefully managed their financial growth. Kevin and Sue knew that Patrick’s integrity and personal care would always be in their best interests.

Sue worked for many years as a graphic designer/art director in the advertising and printing business. She still has a passion for the arts and has volunteered at the Detroit Institute of Arts for many years. Kevin works in the automotive supply industry. He is responsible for product quality, worker health and safety, and the environmental aspects of the business. In his free time, Kevin loves all things sports, especially Michigan State football, basketball, and hockey. WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2024? The Deacons enjoy traveling and hope to explore many new places in the coming years. This summer, they are going to London, England, and Edinburgh, Scotland, where they will meet up with some of Sue’s relatives. They also enjoy going to concerts and have tickets to several shows this year. They’re trying to see as many bands as they can before they run out of farewell tours! Most importantly, they look forward to spending time together with their family, especially their two grandsons, Jack and George.
