Greetings, Senators! I have finished compiling all of the results of the Faculty Code Rewrite Survey into a report that I have attached here. I carefully combed through every response and redacted any personally identifying information in order to protect and maintain anonymity, as promised. As well, I made very minor formatting edits in order to make the report more readable without compromising the integrity of the responses. I want to reiterate my assurance to you that I am the only person who saw all of the survey responses prior to redaction, and it will remain that way. Below is a message from the EC: "Dear Senators, Attached are the results of the Senate vote on whether to endorse the president’s plan to rewrite the Faculty Code using a team of 3 faculty and 3 administrators. The response was overwhelmingly negative, with 90% of the votes opposed and many of the comments expressing strong alarm. Consequently, the Executive Committee will not be supporting the plan. We will share these results with the President and urge him to reconsider working through existing channels and utilizing the BFCC’s report to update the Faculty Code as recommended by the committee. The Executive Committee thanks you for the work you have done, on such short notice, to ensure that faculty voices are heard in this important matter."
