Eagle Pass October was National PT month! Remember to be your own advocate and to #ChoosePT. See what a BIG difference we can make in your daily lives. BTA Eagle Pass would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during our fund raising event throughout the month of October. All funds were donated to Candles for Life, a local charity that assists patient with cancer in Maverick County. Back to Action turned in $650 this year and we were honored to be Gold Sponsors. We would also like to invite everyone to stop by our clinic during the month of November and drop off non-perishable food items for our food drive. We will be donating the food at the end of the month to local food pantries. Harlingen Back To Action in Harlingen was again very active in our local community. We volunteered at Loaves and Fishes of the Rio Grande Valley on October 6th 2016. While volunteering, we packed to-go meals that were taken to Raymondville residents. The tournament raisesmoney for the disabled children’s camp in Texas and for local scholarships. Finally, onOctober 27th, we attended theRioGrande Valley Senior Health Fair at Casa de Amistad. It was a free health fair and hopefully many of you were able to come out and visit us. We hope that we were able to answer all of your questions. If we can Practice News

be of any further assistance to you, please feel free to visit us or call us at our clinic. Brownsville Back To Action Physical Therapy Brownsville visited the Brownsville Kiddie Health Center on Price Road and read children’s story books to the children at the lobby while the kids were waiting to be called for their appointment. Hearing them laugh and seeing these children smile is the best therapy. Remember to spend at least 30 minutes a day to read to your child and laugh with them, they’ll always remember those wonderful experiences throughout their lives. October marked the 4th year anniversary of the Director of Physical Therapy Ronald Sibayan, LPT at Back To Action Physical Therapy in Brownsville. The staff at Back To Action Physical Therapy in Brownsville dressed up as NERDS on the 31st of October 2016. Our patients had a blast seeing us in our outfits and enjoyed their treatments during their visit. We’re glad to have put a smile to our patients’ faces. Del Rio Back to Action has continued to collect gently used shoes for charity that will also benefit the local animal rescue throughout the month of November. Staff members dropped off our outdated newspapers and office shredding to the rescue. We participated in a fund raiser event for St. James school at the famous Brinkleymansion and enjoyed a tour of the home along with wine tasting and an auction. On Halloween, we traded places with our patients for the day and dressed up as them!
