Sale Day Phone: Calls may be placed directly to Livestock Exchange at 970-842-5115 Terms: Terms of the sale are cash unless prior credit arrangements are established between buyer and seller. Settlements are to be made with the clerk immediately after the conclusion of the auction. Health: Health certificates will be provided with each lot sold. Breeding soundness exams will be provided on all bulls sold. EPD’s: Please note that EPD’s may change from the time the sale catalog is printed until registration papers are transferred. Genomic enhanced EPD’s, Sire Verified. Wintering Arrangements: As a service to our customers, we will continue feeding the bulls until April 15, 2026 at no cost. Bulls are fed and managed at the buyer’s risk, including any veterinary costs and will be given the same quality care they have received while on test. Plateau Gelbvieh would like to have bulls picked up between April 15th and April 20th or would like to arrange for delivery during that time. First Breeding Season Guarantee: Plateau Gelbvieh will provide a first breeding season guarantee on all bulls sold in their February 27, 2026 sale for $3000 or more. First breeding season is defined as the time of turnout to 90 days after turnout. If you have a problem, please act on it quickly. If a bull is hurt during this time period, the buyer will return the bull to Plateau Gelbvieh and pick out another bull. If such bull is not suited or needed, Plateau Gelbvieh will give you full purchase price credit on next year’s sale only. Liability: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the seller for a reasonable period of time. Every precaution will be taken for the welfare of the cattle sold. Neither owner, sale manager or Livestock Exchange, LLC can be held responsible for any accidents, but every effort will be made to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending the sale. Announcements: Supplement sheets will be available sale day. Announcements made sale day will take precedence over printed material in the catalog. Mail or Phone Bids: Mailed or telephoned bids will be handled in a most confidential manner if you are unable to attend the sale. Contact the sale management staff for assistance in purchasing cattle on order. Transportation: Transportation of bulls will be the responsibility of the buyer. We will be glad to assist in arranging transportation on sale day. If you chose to have the bull(s) wintered by the seller, we will transport them back to the feedlot.
