The Challenges of Cross Collaboration Team
Bunifu created a new cross-collaborative leadership team to help with implementing parts of their newly developed three-year strategic plan. The Co-founders hit many obstacles and struggles throughout the process such as: • Creating an effective means for their strategic partners outside of the established project teams to effectively collaborate and communicate without delays. Also meetings were difficult to schedule due to time zone differences.
• This resulted in missed deadlines and delays in executing and focused implementation of the strategic plan and loss of money for the organization.
• The cross-collaborative team members also had monthly meetings scheduled, but the meetings were not focused, and nothing got accomplished. The co-founders never received any progress reports, task accomplished or milestones from the members. Although the co- founders rolled out a full strategic plan for three years with strategic priorities. The plan nor priorities were implemented throughout the business with fidelity and the organization never hit their targets.
