10610 West Oakland Park Boulevard General Seating: $10; $5 with valid student ID Call or visit the Civic Center box office (954) 747-4646 Dubbed the “Super Bowl of poetry,” Louder Than a Bomb Florida (LTABFLA) – presented by the Jason Taylor Foundation’s bluapple Poetry Network - features a friendly spoken-word competition between school-based poetry teams from across the state. While LTABFLA places a heavy emphasis on team and community, it also celebrates outstanding individual performances, culminating in the Louder Than a Bomb Florida “Indy” Finals which is headlined by the top 10 individual poets from the entire festival. Rated PG-13.

“Bengal Expression” is a dynamic art exhibition showcasing the creative achievements of Piper High School students and the culmination of a full year of artistic exploration, collaboration, and growth. Featuring work in a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, photography, and mixed media, the exhibition highlights the diverse voices, ideas, and perspectives of emerging young artists. This exhibition celebrates student creativity and the dedication of their educators and administrators but also reflects the strong partnership between Piper High School and the City of Sunrise in supporting arts education, youth development, and cultural enrichment within the community.
