Welcome to our annual Charolais bull sale at Platte Livestock Market in Platte, SD. Prairie Valley Farm is located five miles west of Platte, South Dakota on Highway 44, is owned and operated by David Mason. The late Clarence Mason began his Charolais herd in 1980, and with the help of his son and hired men expanded his herd to include 175 spring cows and 125 fall cows. The bulls were fed corn and corn silage, ground hay, NC SRL BPB 35 High Cal 500 RM modified distillers, fed to gain 3.0 - 4.0 pounds a day. You will get scrotal measurements and ultrasound data sale day. The bulls have a very good disposition. Stop in and take a look. The majority are moderately framed.
