Welcome to our Bull Sale. It is with great appreciation that the Stampfel and Carrel families invite you to our annual Bull Sale. We would like to thank you for support- ing our program throughout the years and welcome the opportunity to see our customers and friends and visit about your operations and specific genetic needs. We take being your seedstock supplier very seriously. Producing performance ori- ented bulls that are backed by superior maternal genetics is our goal. The older bulls (Lots 1-55) are turned out for the summer, developed on rough, dry country, then brought in to be performance tested. They have not been over- fed in a lot the entire time. They are sound and ready to go to work. As usual, all bulls were developed on a high roughage ration. All bulls are performance tested, semen tested, freeze branded, BVD tested, RFID tagged, poured and foot rot vacci- nated. Every bull in the sale has been genomically tested and tested for parentage. We spend a lot of time researching and developing sires in an effort to use genet- ics that fit our environment. Our never ending quest for improvement is a passion. Our bulls are managed to be sound and not fed to excess. We appreciate bulls that sire progeny that have the ability to maximize available forage while producing a product that will push down the scale. At Pine Coulee we are strong believers in the power of the cow. We are rigid in our culling practices with utmost attention to fertility, feet, legs, stay-ability, efficiency, disposition, udder quality and overall structural soundness. We welcome the op- portunity to give you a tour of our program. Our sincere belief that a serious working relationship between seedstock and commercial producers, at the grass roots level, is an important bridge to ensure longevity and profitability for both parties.
