Performance Management • Lead the development and delivery of a strategic performance management framework, ensuring that clear performance measures are in place for Essentia both Trust-wide and across partner Trusts within KHP, the ICS and beyond, and manage a process of continuous improvement in relation to service delivery, identifying innovative approaches and best practice. • Analyses performance across Essentia in relation to performance targets and strategic objectives, developing strategies and business plans, providing advice in areas where expert opinion differs and where barriers to understanding and acceptance exist. • Be strategically accountable, and hold staff accountable, for the delivery of all agreed objectives and outcomes for the Trust, Essentia and any external Trust clients or partners. • Ensure that resources allocated are properly and effectively deployed to deliver against agreed targets of time, cost and quality. • Ensure effective action is taken as appropriate, where performance is at risk of falling below expected standards, requiring performance improvement action plans to address unacceptable deviation from agreed or benchmarked financial and operational delivery standards or other requirements. • Regularly undertake and manage research activity including complex surveys and audits in relation to performance management across a range of services and functions. Report on the research outputs to the Board within GSTT and partner Trusts.
