Russell Township Council recognized eight outstanding residents at its Monday, September 22 meeting, presen- ting Community Awards for their excep- tional contributions to the community. C’est avec un immense regret que la famille Racine et Latour vous font part du décès tragique de Michaël Racine, survenu le 20 septembre 2025, âgé de 29 ans. Fils bien-aimé de François Racine et Lorraine Latour. Petit frère chéri de Nicolas Racine et grand frère adoré de Donna Racine (Sébastien Cloutier). Outre que sa famille, Michaël laisse dans le deuil son groupe d’amis qu’il aimait tant. Il laisse également sa marraine Joanne, son parrain Benoît, ainsi que plusieurs cousins, cousines, oncles, et tantes. La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 18 octobre à la ferme familiale (231, route 700 est, Casselman), à partir de 10 h 30. Une célébration de vie est prévue sur place pour 11 h 30. Suite à la célébration, la famille vous invite à partager un repas en se remémorant des bons moments vécus avec Michaël. PRENEZ AVIS que le Conseil de la Municipalité de Casselman tiendra une réunion extraordinaire en vertu de l’article 17 et de l’alinéa 26(3)(b) de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire, L.R.O. 1990, chap. P.13, telle que modifiée, afin d’informer le public de l’intention de la Municipalité de réviser son Plan officiel. La réunion extraordinaire aura lieu pendant la séance du Conseil à 18 h, le mardi 25 novembre, conformément aux exigences de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire, L.R.O. 1990, chap. P.13, telle que modifiée, afin d’offrir au public l’occasion de formuler des commentaires et de discuter des modifications qui pourraient être apportées au Plan officiel actuel. Cette réunion extraordinaire constitue la première étape du processus de révision, et aucun document préliminaire n’a été préparé pour cette rencontre. Tout au long du processus de révision du Plan officiel, une séance portes ouvertes ainsi qu’une réunion publique officielle auront lieu afin d’offrir au public d’autres occasions d’examiner les documents provisoires et de transmettre ses commentaires au personnel et au Conseil.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of Casselman will be holding a Special Meeting under Section 17 and Section 26(3)(b) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, C.P. 13 as amended, to inform the public of the Municipality’s intent to review its Official Plan. The Special Meeting is being held during the Council meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25 in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, C.P. 13 as amended, to provide members of the public with an opportunity to provide comments and discuss the revisions that may be required to the current Official Plan. This Special Meeting is the first step to initiate the review process, and no draft documents have been prepared for this meeting. Throughout the Official Plan review process, there will be an Open House and a Statutory Public Meeting that will provide additional opportunities for the public to review draft documents and to provide comments to staff and Council.
