Although we have been focused on reducing air shipping—one of our largest impacts— our new reporting platform, Aclymate, does not currently allow us to isolate this factor, making it difficult to confirm if the reduction reflects these efforts. We did observe a decrease in air shipping from 2022 to 2023 and are now working with Aclymate to better track this driver in future reporting. The vast majority of our GHG emissions are Scope 3, the result of shipping products to clients (in particular when air shipping is used) and in our own business travel (flying to meetings and events).

Our plan is to reduce our GHG emissions in our operations and supply chain by reducing our consumption overall. As we shift to renewable energy where possible there will still be areas we can’t reduce our impact, we are compensating for it by procuring offsets and investing in nature-based solutions that help sequester carbon from the atmosphere.
