Walkaway Cover Our free cover for new puppies and kittens Our Walkaway Cover offers you peace of mind that your new puppy or kitten is covered in their early days. Getting started is easy. If your cat or dog is between eight weeks and one year old, book an appointment at reception for a health check. If your pet is eligible, cover begins straight away and you’ll have four weeks of free access to our WalkawayCover policy benefits: Veterinary fee cover of £500 which can be ‘topped up’ Pet helplines available round the clock to support you with counselling and offer advice on pet legal matters Additional benefits including £1 million of third party liability cover (dogs only), advertising & reward, boarding and kennel fees coverand many more exclusive benefits Perfect for new puppy and kitten owners looking for peace of mind in the early days.
365 Flex Our 12-month policy Our 365Flex policy provides 12 months’ cover for the cost of treatment for accidents and illnesses. As our most economically priced policy, it’s a great place to start if you’re looking to keep the cost down in the short term.

Terms, conditions and excesses apply, and may be varied at renewal. Walkaway Cover covers illnesses and accidents instantly. Not all dog breeds are eligible. If you need to make a claim during the four week period and need further veterinary fee cover, you have the choice to purchase a Lifetime Flex or 365 Flex to do so. This must be arranged before your Walkaway Cover expires or there will not be any additional cover available.

Choosing the right pet insurance policy
To help you choose the right cover, we’ve broken it down as simply as we can.
Walkaway Cover
MiPet Cover Benefit
Lifetime cover explained: New accidents and illnesses (conditions) are covered up to the specified financial limit in each policy term. If the limit is reached during the policy term, the cover stops until the policy is renewed. At the renewal date the limit is fully reinstated and the condition(s) will continue to be covered. This is subject to the insurer inviting the policy renewal and payment of premiums by the due date. No further cover will be provided beyond the cancellation or expiry date of the policy. Please be aware that you need to renew your policy each year for cover to remain in force. The premium may increase each year due to rating factors such as age and claims made. If your pet suffers an illness during the policy term you may find it difficult obtaining cover for these conditions from other providers. About annual cover: Following an illness or injury, you have 12 months cover from the onset of each new condition up to the financial limit. Once reached or the 12 months has passed, whichever is sooner, any on- going treatment required as a result of the condition will be excluded from future claims. No further cover will be provided unless your insurance policy remains in force with no breaks in cover and premiums are kept up to date. This type of cover meets the demands and needs of a pet owner who wants to cover the cost of veterinary treatment for 12 months only for each illness or injury.
