Wohlsen elevates Michael Funck to vice president of its Central Pennsylvania mar- ket. With 20 years under the Wohlsen Brand, Funck most recently served as vice presi- dent of preconstruction and es- timating. During his tenure at Wohlsen, Funck has advanced through a career path, which included: project engineer, project manager, estimator and preconstruction manager. Brett Wesson , of Wohlsen Construction Company, won the Gold Medal at the Na- tional Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Craft Championship held in Birmingham, Alabama. Wesson took the top honor in the Carpentry division. In order to qualify for the Na- tional competitionWesson had to place first at the local level through the Keystone Chapter of ABC. Wohlsen’s craft profes- sionals have won the National Gold Medal three times in the last four years. Wesson also received the new National Craft Competi- tion (NCC) Safety Award at the competition. This award is given to one competitor in the Carpentry Division. The two-day event had two components: a written test and the practical “hands on” competition. n
