Kenzie Douglas

IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Kenzie Douglas was an elementary school teacher when her fiancé told her about the shopping club his parents belonged to—Melaleuca. Interested in learning more about these unique wellness products, she attended a Melaleuca Overview presentation hosted by National Directors 3 Krista and Jordan Wineinger. Part of that presentation focused on the 2018 lung health study, which revealed how using harsh cleaning chemicals in the home was impacting the health of ordinary people everywhere. When Kenzie heard about the alternative Melaleuca offered—effective, nontoxic EcoSense ® home cleaners—everything clicked.

“I recognized how unsafe the products were that I had been using in my classroom,” she says. “And I really wanted to get rid of the toxins there and in my home.” Kenzie not only enrolled with Melaleuca but purchased a Home Conversion Pack two months in a row. “My fiancé is kind of a ‘go big or go home’ person,” she laughs. “And I said, ‘Well, if we’re going to switch one thing, we might as well switch them all. And I was definitely happy we did—because there were a lot of products I wouldn’t have gotten to try otherwise.” Today, Kenzie runs her own business as a health and weight loss coach—and in addition

to the 400+ Melaleuca wellness products she has access to, she’s thrilled that Melaleuca pays her commissions for referring friends and family to shop for those products as well. “Owning your own business can be scary,” she says. “It’s important to me to have multiple streams of income. My supplemental income from Melaleuca helps out so much financially.” What’s truly satisfying, of course, is to change someone else’s life by introducing them to Melaleuca. “I want to help others,” Kenzie says, “These products that I love have the power to change their lives—and the business has that power too.” JC
