Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 12. There are a variety of gift ideas in the Golf Shop for all the mothers in your life, and complimentary gift wrapping is always available. We are currently running a Mother’s Day contest for a $500 gift certificate. Each women’s apparel purchase of $75 or more gains entry in the contest. Stop by the Golf Shop for details. The grass tee is now available daily on the practice range. Turf is available Monday and Thursday on the back of the range, and on the front Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. While utilizing the Practice Range, or the wedge range, please take divots in lines. Place your ball on the back edge of your previous divot when practicing. Golf Course Notes : Monday - North Course first tee restricted for High School golf 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday - South Course restricted until 12:30 p.m. for WGAP matches. Wednesday - North Course restricted after 5:15 p.m. for Men’s Twilight. All other players must be off the course at this time. Thursday - North Course Front Nine restricted after 5:00 p.m. for Women’s Golf Social. All other players must be off the front nine at this time. Friday - South Course restricted after 12:30 p.m. for the Men’s Opening Event. All other players must be off the course at this time.
On Grass: Tuesday, Wednesday; Friday through Sunday (weather permitting).
Rear Tee: On Grass: Monday and Thursday (weather permitting). On Mats: Tuesday, Wednesday; Friday through Sunday.
Groom South Course greens with a double vertical mowing of the canopy, followed by a regular mowing. Apply rough fertilizer to South Roughs, Clubhouse Grounds, and Racquets areas. Remove diseased dogwood trees and replace with Crepe Myrtles in lower member parking lots. Install three additional trees near Kirk Road along 3 South. Finish area with mulch and seed. Continue to remove spring bulbs and install annuals in Clubhouse beds. There’s a chance of showers each day this week, possibility of thunderstorms on Thursday. Please fix your pitch mark, plus one other. Please scatter your cart traffic in all areas of the golf courses. Please keep your motorized golf cart 30 feet from greens and tees; if a hard surface is present, please park on the path. Divots: replace with the small patch of turf if possible. If not, use the mix in the bottles .
