From day one, I knew exactly what I wanted the magazine to be: a celebration of luxury lifestyles that inspired people to dream bigger. Communicating that vision to my team was non-negotiable; it was the foundation of everything we built.
Within a year, her business landed a $15 million investment, and she rediscovered her love for what she did. Babs added, “Delegation isn’t about giving up control. It’s about focusing on what you do best and letting others take care of the rest.” That’s a lesson I’ve had to learn myself. I love to create and connect, but for the longest time, I tried to do it all. Letting go of the things that aren’t my strengths hasn’t just helped me free up time—it’s allowed me to focus on what I do best and actually enjoy the process.
