Dear New or Returning Student,
On behalf of our faculty and staff, I want you to know that we are thrilled to have you as a student at Word of Life Bible Institute! We have been praying and planning for your arrival and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store this year. The Word of Life Bible Institute experience has commonly been called “the best year(s) of your life.”
As we anticipate an exciting year of learning and growing, I want to challenge you with the following verse:
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20, ESV).
We believe that God has a very specific plan for your life. It is our prayer that the Lord uses your time here at Word of Life Bible Institute to equip you to carry out that plan. Could it be that this plan is beyond what you could ever ask for or think about? Just maybe, the Lord has plans for you that would blow your mind if you knew what was coming. I want to encourage you to enter this year with your heart and mind open to what the Lord wants to teach you. If you come with this attitude, I believe the Spirit of God will take the Word of God and begin to transform you from the inside out. For “far more abundant” things to happen in your life, it must be God doing them and not yourself. Our staff and faculty—Resident Assistants, Deans, Resident Professors, Visiting Professors, Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping, Maintenance Crew, and so many others—are ready to serve you. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything.
