STAFF SPOTLIGHT: CHANDRA KORBAS, LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT
What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part about working at the Law Offices of DuPont and Blumenstiel is working in a team environment. We are very intentional about supporting each other and helping each other to be the best at what our individual roles are. I greatly appreciate the help I’ve received from my coworkers as I’ve come into this legal assistant role and enjoy my part in our cohesive unit. We strive to treat our clients and each other with respect and dignity. Describe your career path before you started working here. I came to the Law Offices of DuPont & Blumenstiel in September 2021 after a career in education, where I specialized in literacy, language development, and reading instruction. The last 15 years of my career were in a kindergarten classroom. As it became time
for me to retire from my career in education, I realized that my skill set and interests would align themselves well to a career in the law. What motivates you to get up and go to work every day?
I am motivated to come to work by a desire to learn and a desire to help improve the lives of other people. I am also intrinsically motivated by the desire to make a difference in people’s lives. I find joy when, at the end of the day, my participation in a legal case, or in someone’s life in general, made a difference and helped them to move forward in a positive manner.
