Manager: Eloise Nevin Team: Sam Hadley, Ned Botherway, Charles Lord, Sam Willems, Bradley Shearer, Tom Picton-Warlow, Luc Both-erway, Sam Chittock, Angus Johnson, Dom Botherway, Ed Bodie- Healy, Tomas Coberger, Tim Tolerton The Christ’s College snowsports team enjoyed another successful season, featuring an outstanding performance at the Canterbury School Ski and Snowboard Championships on Wednesday 4 August at Mount Hutt. Twelve

College skiers and one snowboarder tested their skills at the event. The team had a fantastic day on the slopes, with College skiers taking out the Interschool Ski Race Trophy for the fastest boys’ team. Sam Hadley won the Hamilton Cup for the fastest individual boy, with last year’s winner, Tom Picton-Warlow, a close second. The boys dominated on the day, with seven of the 12 College skiers finishing in the top 15 out of a field of 80 skiers. Our top finishers: 1st Sam Hadley,

2nd Tom Picton-Warlow, 5th Ned Botherway, 9th Dom Botherway, 12th Luc Botherway, 14th Tomas Coberger, and 15th Bradley Shearer. In the snowboard event, Year 10 student Ed Bodie-Healey finished 12th.
