Dear Readers,
4-5 6-7 8-9 10-11
Find the pages about the Giant Tortoise and find out how long one can go without eating or drinking! We also have a page all about inventors. Can you find the page and find out about a toy invented by a nine-year-old boy? So much to see and read in this month’s edition. I’m going to sit in the shade of a tree and read it all! I hope you are too. Happy Reading!
While August still feels like summer, I am starting to look forward to a new school year! But before summer comes to a complete close, this month’s pages of will take you on a trip to an Amusement Park to uncover a mystery! Use the decoder to figure out what the mystery letter says. Is it still HOT where you live? Running the A/C can cost a lot of money, so I share some fun activities that can cool you down and save energy! Sometimes days are just too hot to move quickly. This month we meet a real slow animal, that is slow all year round. Kid Scoop News

Dear Friends, August is an exciting time of year as many of you head back to school, reconnect with friends, and begin new adventures in the classroom! This month, we’re learning about how small actions can make a big difference. You’ll discover ways to reduce waste, learn what happens when things decompose, and the Earth’s valuable resources. You’ll also take a look at the history of school lunches and how they have changed over the years to help students learn and grow. If you’re an animal lover, you’ll enjoy learning about the giant tortoise, one of the most fascinating creatures on our planet. Finally, you’ll be inspired by the life and words of Maya Angelou, who showed us the power of kindness, courage, and perseverance. Her story reminds us that each of us has the ability to make a positive impact on the people around us. As you begin a new school year, I hope you’ll stay curious, work hard, and never stop learning. Every new lesson is an opportunity to grow, and I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you’ll accomplish. Wishing you a fantastic August and a successful school year!
