Classes below are taught by Jay Dudding , one of the metro area’s premier dance instructors whose talents are recruited by cruise lines worldwide! Trained under an Arthur Murray instructor, Jay uses a highly encouraging, positive-reinforcement style that delivers individual attention within a fun group setting. SWING & BALLROOM DANCE Learn East Coast Swing, Hustle, and Waltz dances! Receive individual attention in a group setting to quickly build your skills and reinforce learning. Students receive individual attention in a group setting to help reinforce learning and feel comfortable. Singles
TAP DANCE 1 Learn the fundamentals of tap dance in a fun and relaxed environment. Build on the basics from Tap I, and learn new steps and rhythms. 7098-F1 (No class October 17) 6 Sessions: $55 Saturdays, Oct 3 – Nov 14 | 10:40 – 11:40 a.m. Location: VVM Cafetoruim THE MID-DAY SHUFFLE: LOW-IMPACT TAP FOR ADULTS Looking for a fun way to break up your day, meet great people, and learn a new skill? Join us for The Mid-Day Shuffle, a welcoming tap class tailored specifically for adults. We trade strict routines for pure rhythm, focusing on the joy of movement, musicality, and a great low- impact tapping workout. It’s the perfect daytime escape to challenge your brain, move your body, and have a blast. Grab your shoes and let’s make some noise together! 7099-F3 (No class Oct 6 and Nov 3) 12 Sessions: $185 Tuesdays, Sept 8 – Dec 8 | 11:30 – 12:30 a.m. Location: Bloomington Civic Plaza - Center for the Arts MUSIC BEGINNING GUITAR – GUITAR FROM SCRATCH Learn basic picking and strumming techniques, notes, chords, and basic songs in a relaxed atmosphere.
