How To Use continued Rate—Harvest Management/ Fruit Quality
FOR HARVEST MANAGEMENT/FRUIT QUALITY Single Application • 1 pouch/A 7–16 days prior to the anticipated beginning of the normal harvest period of untreated fruit Double Application • First application: 1 pouch/A 21–28 days prior to the anticipated beginning of the normal harvest period of untreated fruit • Second application: 1 pouch/A 14–21 days after the first application, but not less than 7 days prior to harvest • Do not use more than 2 pouches/A Water volume: 100–150 gal/A or enough volume for adequate coverage without excessive runoff. Apply to healthy orchards. Do not apply to trees that may be nutrient, water or pest stressed. Bloom time application: Do not use any surfactant because surfactants can cause premature flower senescence and drop by covering the stigmatic surface. 10 mm application: Use organosilicone surfactant at a concentration of 0.05–0.1%. Harvest management: Use horticultural mineral oil as adjuvant for optimum product efficacy. Application rate: 0.25–0.5%.

Additional ReTain Use Considerations and Best Practices Do not apply more than 2 pouches of ReTain per acre per year (fruit set improvement and harvest management uses combined) For increased pre-harvest drop control, ReTain can be tank mixed with auxin-based products such as PoMaxa® Plant Growth Regulator Adjust spray tank pH to neutral to slightly acidic To avoid phytotoxicity, make sure no Captan has been applied in the preceding 4 weeks or will be applied in the following 2 weeks of the ReTain application Avoid tank mixes with zinc, iron or copper, as well as any +2 cations Do not tank mix ReTain with sunburn products, such Raynox® Protectant products. If sunburn products are used, apply at least 3 days before or after ReTain application.
