Relax in comfort and style Our suites are suitable for individuals and couples and comprise of a living area with kitchenette, and a separate bathroom and bedroom. Each of our kitchenettes has appliances included, such as a fridge freezer, oven and washer dryer, in addition to all furniture being provided. Everyone living in our suites will have access to The Mill House’s private landscaped gardens and the opportunity to meet like-minded neighbours. Our suites really do provide a unique living opportunity in the centre of Skipton, whilst offering style, comfort, and independence, enabling later years to be enjoyed. Your lifestyle, your choices Our main home provides a concierge service to individuals residing in our suites, with meals and much more being provided. Our onsite catering team prepare the highest quality food, with everyone’s tastes and preferences in mind. We will discuss any dietary requirements prior to you living with us. We will take care of your laundry and housekeeping, so you can enjoy your leisure time. The Mill Lodge is accessed via a covered walkway from our main home. Residents of our suites are welcome into the main part of our home at any time to socialise, enjoy a drink and participate in activities as they wish. We have a daily, weekly and monthly activities programme, which is created based on our residents’ interests.
Our eight care suites provide a high standard of accommodation, with peace of mind that our team is on-site 24/7 should you require any assistance. The Mill Lodge is situated alongside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and boasts fantastic views. The canal-side café with an outdoor patio offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy an al fresco refreshment whilst watching the beauty of the busy waterway. There is easy access to the main facilities of The Mill House, to enable you to enjoy the benefit of our communal areas when desired, whilst enabling you to enjoy your own independent private space. Four of our suites are located on the ground floor and a further four located the first floor, which can be reached via stairs or by a private lift.

We’re here when you need us Our care colleagues are on hand to provide 24-hour peace of mind, as and when you need assistance. All care staff employed by Anchor are provided with ongoing training and are required to complete a range of in-house courses to assure you of the best possible care. Additional services, such as monthly hairdressing and a daily newspaper of choice are included. We can also support you to arrange extras such as chiropody and dentistry as and when needed. An award-winning approach to care You can rest assured that, should your circumstances change, we can accommodate different care needs at The Mill House.
